Had long term tenants move out--mold everywhere due to their habit of keeping blankets over the window and never openeing doors or windows to allow air exchange. I managed to pretty much clear up everything but the livingroom carpet, and am afraid the mold may be in the subfloor. What do I do in this instance?

U/V lights are a popular item in mold prevention. They help a bit.. but I found some A/C's that had an UV light, but the A/C had alot of condensation and that caused so much mold it didn't matter how many UV lights you had...

My point is... yes the UV light is a good idea, although keep that A/C balanced and things dry and you should be ok!

Hope that helps....
