Remediation projects vary depending on the size. Either way you will need to be educated if you are going to do it yourself or if you have a contractor come in and do it for you.

Either way, be sure to understand the procedures so you don't get a half complete job which can haunt you later.

We are embarking on a mold remediation on a bank-owned home we just purchased. The info on your site has been very helpful in approaching the project in a professional and safe way. We were shocked to find out that the remediation project would cost about $10,000 if we had someone else do it.

I am moving from one house that has flooded over and over for 12 years. I have tried to get rid of mold but have not been successful. Does everything in my home have to be cleaned before moving to the new house? Landlord won\\\\\\\'t fix the flooding problem and has not done anything about the leak in the stack over kitchen and bath area. Over the years, do you think all my belongs will need to be cleaned or thrown out?

Check your perimeter walls, it sounds like their is some water issue you are not finding.
The only reason I can see is you did not find the source of the problem.

Their may be issues with the A/C system. Check out my Podcast about Air Conditioning leaking
or having to much humidity.

we have mold in out attic. i think it was caused because of the heavy rain fall we had last summer. we installed a vent in the roof and sprayed bleach over the mold to help decrease it. recently we\'ve discovered that the mold is back and spreading. what do you suggest we do?

Hi Maurice, I live in Florida and I\\\'m fortunate in that I don\\\'t have mold at the momeni, however, my A/C maintenance guy keeps after me to let him install a U1;//V type of flourescent light in the compressor casing. He claims this will prevent Mold. Is this neccessary?

We apparently had a leaking chimney. It runs through my daughters room into the basement. The paneling that covers the chimney in her room has now bowed out and there is white fuzzy on the wall along with some black oozing stuff that is in the corner. I have had the chimney repaired and just recently cleared out my daughters room, we are going to take out all the paneling in the room and replace it with new drywall. My question is once this paneling is down, what type of clean up as far as the mold goes do I need to do? Thank you for your time and help.

I think the audio course was great and very informative. Do you have a course online which you are selling, I have heard about your seminars and think your information is top notch. I have a inspection business and looking to get some info on getting started in the mold industry.
